Use of Fairway Mats
Members will note that a local rule has been issued for the use of fairway mats to protect the fairways in winter. It is mandatory that these mats are used on the fairway, there is no teeing up or lifting your ball off the fairway and dropping your ball in the rough.
However these mats must not be used on tee boxes when driving off or when putting just of the green.
This rule is for all games of golf competition and social golf.
