BUNKERS
ALL bunkers are OUT OF PLAY. When your ball is in a bunker you MUST take free back-on-the-line relief and play your next stroke over the bunker.
PREFERRED LIES
Your ball may be marked, lifted, cleaned, and replaced ONCE ONLY within SIX INCHES (15cms) of its original spot, not nearer the hole, in all areas of the course EXCEPT:
a; penalty areas,
b; putting greens,
c; beyond the tree line of any group of trees, and
d; beyond the cut line defining the top edge of all mounds.
HOLE NO.1 (to speed up play)
If you and your fellow players are at least 95% certain that your ball landed in the General area on Hole 1, but NOT BEYOND THE TREE LINE, and you cannot immediately locate your ball, you may play another ball, without penalty, from the estimated spot where your original ball is deemed to have come to rest.
Penalty for Playing Ball from a Wrong Place:
General Penalty (2 strokes).
