ClubV1 and BRS
Clarity on the uses of both systems.
As you will be aware, in March we switched our competition database from Handicap Master (Master Scoreboard) to the ClubV1 System (HowDidIDo). Unfortunately we only managed to fit in two competitions before the lockdown occurred and it is not until now that we have started using it again. There have been lots of questions about both the BRS and ClubV1 so below we are the benefits and uses of both systems:

The BRS app is our tee booking software. This allows members to manage casual and competition tee times as well as manage their competition purse (browser version only). This has not changed although over the lockdown BRS updated the user interface so it looks like a new app.

If you haven't downloaded the app you can do so by clicking the links below:

App Store - iPhone / iPad

Play Store - Android / Samsung

The ClubV1 has replaced Master Scoreboard and is where you can view competition information including upcoming fixtures, results and knockout fixtures. You can also view your handicap records, club news, club documents and you bar card spends.

The ClubV1 system offers a lot more for the members than the previous Master Scoreboard system and members will see these benefits in the coming weeks when competitions have resumed.

We would also like to clarify some confusion with the two separate accounts on both apps. The account on the BRS is your purse account used for competition fees and winnings. The purse is managed by the Competitions Committee and can be spent on competition fees, in the American Golf retail store, in the Academy reception, transferred to your Bar Card or used towards Membership Subscriptions. The account on the V1 system is your bar card that is managed by the club. Your bar card gives you the 10% discount in the Bar and Academy Reception.
