Excellent Win by Ladies Div III team
First win of the season!
‘The 5th April saw the first match for our Div 3 ladies team against Mid Sussex. It was great to see such a strong team for our first home fixture with Sue Hollands, Carolyn Oldham , Moira Lockyer, Barbara Lusted, Corrina Smith, Juliet York, captained by Jane Saunders
Despite the showers and tricky wind conditions, which made the games both challenging and interesting, our ladies came through with a great win of 5.5 to 1.5.
After a well earned cream tea at the end, the Div 3 team are hoping that this is the start of a good year for the ladies’
