Jon Stern is the man of steel as he soars into top spot

Alan Ratcliffe was unable to defend his top spot as Jon Stern proves he's the man of steel! Alan Ratcliffe was leading at the turn, but 5 birdies on the trot turned the game towards Jon Stern as he captures top spot with only two weeks remaining relegating Alan Ratcliffe to 6th. 

Tom Foreman, the former professional, defeated Karl Nilchibar 4 & 3 to grab a semi-final match next Saturday with Simon Burton beating Stuart Catton to possibly line up the other semi-final against Mark O'Hara. Mark O'Hara beat longtime leader Mark Earley to throw the league wide open as Simon Burton closes the gap to 2pts at the top. 

50 members played on a beautiful February day, perfect winter conditions with fast, rolling greens made it a great day to be on the course.
