Simon Burton, defended his No.1 spot against Ian Pagan in a game that saw both players round under their handicap. Ian Pagan took an early lead; but eventually, succumb to Simon’s power game.
Mark Early suffered his second successive defeat, this week to the former golf pro, Greg Ford who now jumped into the No.2 spot and top challenger. An emotional Greg commented after his match ‘this is the first time I have beaten Mark, he’s a tough cookie and it’s hard to beat someone that you admire’.
Johnathon Stern moved back to No.3 with the former Spurs player, Sterling Wakefield up to 5th with Ross White (8th) & Alex Truffet (9th) move into the top 10. Phil Davey enjoyed the biggest jump of the day moving from 91st up to 63rd.
Mark Early remains at the top of the league by a point from Simon Burton with only 3 points separating the top 5 players.
