Supplementary Scores
Revised Procedure for Supplementary Scores
The procedure for the submission of Supplementary Scores has been revised the is available to view below and within the Documents Section of the V1 Hub.

A Member may return a Supplementary Score for handicapping purposes in compliance with Clause 21; details of which are summarised below.

1. Intent to submit a Supplementary Score must be shown prior to the start of your round by signing into the Supplementary Score Book located at Golf Reception.

2. A supplementary score card can be scored in either stroke play or Stableford format and players are required to indicate the tees they have played from. The score card must be completed and signed in the same manner as within a qualifying competition.

3. Completed cards should be placed within the competition scorecard boxes or handed back to Golf Reception.

4. There is no limit to the number of supplementary scores returned with a week or within the calendar year. This is a change to the CONGU rules for 2018. There are further restriction for Category 1 players - the full details of Clause 21 are also available within the V1 Hub.

5. Handicap adjustments for supplementary cards are based on the SSS rating of the course and not a CSS as generated for competitions.

6. Once intent to submit a Supplementary Score is given by following the above process (1) any cards not returned will be subject to 0.1 handicap increase.

7. Returns may be subject to action under Clause 23 B if malpractice is suspected.

8. Members are reminded that it is there responsibility to play from the correct handicap. Supplementary scores may not be applied to the system on the same day that you enter them so should you be playing in a competition soon after submitting a Supplementary Score you are responsible for ensuring you take into account any adjustments which may arise from the Supplementary Score.
