Commencing on Wednesday the 23rd April, the car park will be closed to allow it to be reprofiled and resurfaced. This is to arrest the erosion and prevent the flooding that blights it. It will be sealed with a tarmac surface and a slope incorporated to allow drainage. This is a significant project which will reap benefits for members and visitors alike. It has been one of the major complaints over the years that the car park is a muddy mess and unsightly.
The closure will be from 23rd April until Monday 28th. The 9th/18th green will be taken out of use, and a temporary green put on the 9th fairway. This will allow cars to be parked on the grass between the 9th green, and concrete roadway.
