Compressed air cleaning facility
Thanks to initiatives by Men's Captain Steve Jackson, a new compressed air shoe and trolley cleaner has been installed behind the clubhouse.
It has long been a source of complaint that the previous hose pipe on the side of the building lead to a quagmire of mud that engulfed the Captains parking spot, and flowed around the clubhouse causing an unsightly mess.
With the greenkeepers now using a hose near the equipment shed behind the practice nets, the area should be much cleaner.
If you use the unit, please make sure you clean up any dirt from your trolley, with the brush and pan provided and place it in the bin next to the unit. Shoe cleaning should be carried out on the grid which will retain the dirt.
