Captain's Drive-In Results
132 players enjoyed an excellent day yesterday for Ian Stoneham's Captain's Drive-In and competition. I know Ian is planning to put a report together for me to send out later in the week, so I won't say too much more now, other than to cover the results of the competition.
Congratulations to the winners with a staggering 55 points, Gerard & Theresa Cashman. Chris Johnson and Cameron Lang came second with 50 points. Derek Dady and Pip Turner came third with 48 points with Stephen & Matthew Reynolds in fourth with 47 points. The full results are attached with today's latest news email.
George Bingham won the guess the distance of the Captain's drive, with a guess of 249 yards which was the closest. Ian's actual drive was 252 yards. George wins £65 on his swipe card with £65 going to the Captain's charity.
Masters Sweepstake
What an incredible climax to the Masters last night! I hope you all enjoyed watching it.
We had 147 entrants so that meant £140 to the Captain's charity and a prize fund of £1,330, split over 11 places. Congratulations to Thomas Hendrick for winning the sweepstake with 75 points. Steen came second with 74 points with Seve Perez in third with 70 points. The full list of prize winners are shown on the document attached with today's latest news email. The prize money will be added to your swipe card balances today. If you would prefer it to go on your Pro Shop account, please let us know and we will transfer it.
Midweek Stableford Results
Apologies for not sharing these results sooner. Last Wednesday 66 men entered the Midweek Stableford competition. Congratulations to John Lalor for winning the competition with 40 points. Tim Cashman came second with 38 points. Mike Oates came third with 37 points, on countback from Ron Stevens and Graham Hope. The full results are attached with today's latest news email.
