Colin Bannister set the pace early with 39 points. He had 20 points on the front followed by 19 on the back including six 3 point holes. Colin McCluskey joined Colin Bannister on 39 points later on in the day. Colin started with four gross 3s in his first 5 holes worth 14 points. He had 21 on the front and 18 on the back.
The winner of the day, coming from one of the last few groups was Chris Dalgliesh with a superb core of 43 points. His gross 70 was also the best of the day. His solid round consisted of 2 birdies and 1 bogey, finishing his round with six pars in a row. His comment of not having enough shots when collecting his card did not reflect well on his performance! Congratulations to Chris on winning the Williamson Final!
There were a total of 18 two's on the day, including two 2's from Simon Peascod and Robbie Cullen (who didn't pay his 2s money!).
Thank you to all who played in the Williamson Qualifiers and Final and congratulations to Chris Dalgliesh for winning the Williamson Cup and Michael Kelly for winning the Order of Merit.
