Gorleston led by a small margin of 3 at lunch, notably delivered from a strong morning performance from the pairing of Ben Leuty and Steve Hall, winning by 6, while the rest of the team the line up kept their matches tight to keep an away win within reach.
The afternoon saw a line up change, with Steve Crosby and Kevin Woods making way for Josh Neal and Nick Bickers.
Josh paired up with Max Elliot in the pm, with Nick pairing with Daniel Crosby, both pairs won their matches with a combined 8up, the team was anchored by the experienced pairing of Brendan Gough and Tommy Hunt, who delivered a 3 up victory whilst at the same time giving 4 shots to the home pair.
Gorleston move on to the next round, at home against Aldeburgh on the 25th of May.
