Preferred Lies: 12th fairway
Temporary Local Rule
With effect from 13th April 2025, Preferred Lies are in place on the 12th fairway (only).
The player may take free relief once by marking and lifting the ball before placing the original ball or another ball within 6 inches no nearer the hole (see Rule 14.2). The ball may be cleaned and it must be placed in the General Area.
