New Fountain

Welcome to the start of the season and I hope you find the course in excellent condition.
You may have noticed the new fountain on the first. As well as providing a visual feature, this should prevent the pond becoming covered in algae or similar. I'm sure you agree it is a worthwhile feature.
The fountain was entirely funded by donations from members and a big thankyou to all who made this happen. Special thanks go to Graham Ashton (seen here) for donating the actual fountain and to Craig Garland and Ryan Ashworth who donated their time and the materials to connect the electrics. Thanks also go to Ally Park for enabling the project by convincing people to donate - so much so that a second fountain is on the way!
Keep an eye open for a divoting day, there will be one soon once the temperature improves!
