Spring Greens Maintenance
Tuesday April 8th
Today we will be undertaking our spring greens maintenance. We are starting by solid tining the greens followed by the VGR topchanger. This injects high powered water into the profile causing fissures which are filled by sand using the same system.

Once the greens are dry enough we will brush the greens and will be put back in play once rolled and holes back in place. This will take 2-3 days to get the process finished so by Friday all greens should be back in play.

We have also decided after our soil analysis that we will hollow tine just the 15th green as it had some black layer due too being too wet during the winter months. We will overseed with pure bent and fill the holes.

This programme of essential maintenance is the least intrusive so we will continue to deliver premium greens with hopefully the minimum of disruption to members.
