Ladies’ Stableford & Irish Day Cup

Tuesday saw the Ladies’ Stableford & Irish Day Cup with 25 players competing.



Congratulations to Gill Howell winning with 42 points - a full three clear of runner-up, Heidi Patton on 39. Lady Captain, Lucia Albrecht, was third with 37.


Friday Roll-up

The first Friday Roll-up of the season attracted 29 players to the course in perfect playing conditions.



The winner was Mark Carpenter with 40 points.

Malcolm Robson, Mark Jevons and Justin Hatfield were joint runners up with 39 points all receiving a handicap reduction. There were seven people scoring twos, four of whom made a brace! (amazing what happens playing off forward mats)

For those wishing to join the Friday Roll-up tee times are 11.30 to 12.30. Ideally players should arrive by 11.00, sign in on start sheet & pay entry fee £5.00 cash (exact money if possible). You will then be allocated playing partners and start time.

Saturday Men’s Stableford



Saturday Men’s Stableford was won by Gary Honeyford with 40 points.



Runner up was Elliot Lake also with 40 points and taking best gross with a highly respectable 72.

The comp was played off the whites with hole 11 playing the easiest, at an average 0.74 over par - 10 played hardest at 1.58 over.


Sunday Roll-up

16 took to the course on a stunning Sunday morning with the course

Twos were scored by David Ford, Gabriella Campanale and Julia Bailey.

In third place, with 35 points, was Alex Spain who pipped Jeremy Glanville-Jones and David Ford on countback. Second slot went to Julia Bailey with 37 points.



This weeks winner with 38 points and a one shot cut was Jamie Terry.
