Beware the Beatson Bunker!
BEWARE THE BEATSON BUNKER!
Airdrie Golf Club have teamed up with the wonderful people at Beatson Cancer to add a bit of drama and jeopardy to your rounds during the new season and at the same time raise lots of money for a fantastic cause.
The first bunker on the left hand side of the 18th fairway has been designated the “Beatson Bunker” and we would ask that anyone who is unfortunate to find themselves in that bunker makes a donation to the Beatson Charity. You can do this via the collection box at the bar or by using the QR code on the posters in the clubhouse. It doesn’t matter how small the donation as every penny can make a massive difference.
Of course it is not compulsory to make a donation, but just imagine the pressure of all those folk in the clubhouse or on the decking seeing you dump it in the Beatson Bunker and not making a small donation - not that that entered our heads when selecting the bunker.
Hopefully everyone joins in the fun and over the course of the season we raise loads of money for a brilliant charity which does so much to support people going through the most challenging of times.
The Beatson Bunker will be in play from Friday 4th April and will remain in play throughout the 2025/26 season for both competition and casual golf
