Club V1 Comp Scoring Issues
Workaround Options for Issue

As some of you will be aware we encountered an error with Club V1 during the Mens PGA Medal comp on 22nd March. Scores and playing partners were going missing mid round for no apparent reason and it was impossible for some people to complete and submit in scores.
The Comp team have carried out a lot of scenario testing over the last few days and ultimately the fault lies in Club V1 and we have reported the issue for them to fix.
The issue seems to come about when you need to edit a score as we had no issues when both ''players'' entered the same scores from the outset. Whilst we await Club V1 to fix the issue, we would recommend the following steps to give you the best chance of easy score entry when playing in a competition where the scoring is via Club V1.
1) Ideally complete scoring after the round and with your playing partners so you have the best chance of being aligned.
2) If you do have to edit a card, do not edit at the same time as this seems to cause the system to fall over.
3) Keep a card, if and only if you have issues when entering your scores in Club V1, ensure both player and marker sign the card and that it is filled out correctly (date,tee used, comp name etc..) and put the completed card in the box.
Sorry for this added complexity but it is beyond our control.
