On a dry but cold day last Friday 88 ‘vintage’ – in this case meaning over 55 – members played a Texas Scramble.
1. The winners with a score of 53.9 were Peter Chiaramonte, Gary Munford, Helga Morley and Ade Wells.
2. The runners up with a score of 54.8 were Rob Pretty, Alan Davison, Dave Camp and Jack Cornforth.
3. Third with a score of 55.9 were John Curtis, Paul Farmer, Sharon Scotton and Brian Hall
4. Fourth with a score of 56.1 were Roger Lloyd, Kim Griffin, Phil Appleby and Janette Watson.
The presentation was conducted by President Richard Barker, with the prizes presented by Club Captain Alan Miller, Lady Captain Jane Ackling and Seniors Captain Andy Burton.
The organisers, and players, would like to thank Michael and his team for the preparation of the course in a very short time scale, Paul and his team for the refreshments and Adrian and David and their teams for help with the administration of the competition.
