Opportunities for friends and family to try the game
From this year, Southport Golf Academy has been accredited as the official Lancashire Golf Development centre.
As part of their new role, they are offering various opportunities for new and returning adult golfers to try the game for free, with a longer term county goal of creating new members for golf clubs.
The first of these initiatives is a number of free 90 minute 'Introduction to Golf' sessions, where adult players will be able to try 3 aspects of the game with the professionals at SGA.
There will also be 150 free, 30 minute individual lessons available for new golfers to book on a first come, first served basis.
