Well, the final of the winter league was played, all be it a few weeks later than scheduled. Coming out victorious was myself & Matt Cheffins, defeating Nick Barrow & Shaun Cadman 2&1. The match was played in great spirits and was a tight match all the way round.
Well, played to all the people who competed in the winter league. It is sometimes a bit of a slog but gets us out for a knock and a beer at least.
With the summer season feeling like it is on its way on Sunday, we had a great day for the Captains drive in. 2025 captain, Olly Scopes, held his nerve to hit a great drive down the 1st. It was great to see so many turn out to support him and help to raise lots of money for his chosen charity, MIND.
Winners of the Captains Drive in is Johnny ‘Rucksack’ Aspinall & former Captain Gary Pickford. Shooting a very good 54 points. Nicely done fellas. Full podium & prizes below.
