Greens Renovation Work
Schedule of work during March/April
We appreciate the positive feedback we have received on the condition of the golf courses. Paul and his team have had to endure some very wet weather over the past couple of months which has meant preparing for the playing season has been even harder.

With this in mind there is still more work to do on the greens and we wanted to keep you updated on the planned works over the next four weeks.

Week Commencing 10th March
Action: Spiking Greens with a thin tine to allow greater gaseous exchange in the thatch.
Impact: Tuesday 11th Rolling temporary greens on Kings
Wednesday 12th & Thursday 13th rolling temporary greens on Jubilee

Week Commencing 17th March
Action: Scarifying greens to aid even putting surfaces and preparation for Hollowtining the following week.
Impact: Monday 17th potential for rolling temporary greens on Kings
Tuesday 18th potential for rolling temporary greens on Jubilee


Week Commencing 31st March
Action: Hollowtining, seeding and topdressing with sand.
Impact: Monday 31st Front 9 of Jubilee course closed
Tuesday 1st Back 9 of Jubilee course closed

Week Commencing 7th April
Action: Hollowotining, seeding and topdressing with sand.
Impact: Monday 7th Front 9 of Kings course closed
Tuesday 8th Back 9 of Kings course closed

Grass tees will be back in play Thursday 27th March on the Kings and Saturday 29th on the Jubilee, including the reconstructed 7th Tee on the Kings course.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible for the forthcoming playing season.
