We have had a request from our greens team, calling for volunteers to assist in collecting some of the many twigs and fallen branches, please get in touch and I will point you in the right direction.

Our Senior Greenkeeper Dan Robson will also be organising a divoting party in the very near future, notification will be sent of the time and date and I am sure I can squeeze a bacon sarnie off our committee for any willing volunteers.

The new trolly storage unit is almost complete and we are only awaiting a security fence being installed to complete the works, this may take another two weeks but members are already using the storage shed that is alarmed, camera monitored and the only access is by way of a fob which is available from myself. Please get in touch if you already have a space in the old shed or if you are on the waiting list for a space in the new unit.

I have been informed by Anthony that we have a number of club pin flags that we no longer use and these are available to members as a keep sake/memento for a small fee of £5.00 which will be donated to this year’s captains charity.

Members are reminded that tee sheet booking is there for the benefit of all members and we are still seeing some members booking more than one tee time a day which at this time of year is totally unnecessary, please ensure that you communicate between your 4 ball pairings and only book one tee time.

Following a fantastic response from our social media advert for new bar staff we will be interviewing some of the many candidates this week and hopefully we will be successful in employing another team member.
