Edwin Perchard Memorial Trophy 2025
Team Summerfield triumphs!
The final event of this winter's Sunday morning shotgun start competitions was played yesterday. The Edwin Perchard Memorial Trophy is the very popular Team AM-AM format, where two scores count from the team of four.
The winners, with an impressive 91 stableford points, was the ream of Richard Summerfield, Chris Matthews, John Pendergast and Dave Gorman. There front nine of 48 points included two birdie twos at the 8th hole for 7 points!
Runners-up was the team of Mark Sumner, Dave Freeman (both in the prizes for the second successive event) Dale Martin and Michael Fox with 88 points.
In third place, with 87 points, was the team of Philip Grehan, Jason Byrne, Darren Toudic and Philip Irvine.
