Reminder - Local Rule Applicable to No Play Zones adjacent to 9th / 18th Hole
Old Clubhouse site
The old clubhouse site, marked by red and white striped marker posts, is a “Red Penalty Area and “No Play Zone”.
When a player’s ball is in this penalty area, including when it is known or virtually certain to be in the penalty area even though not found, the player must drop the original ball or another ball in the dropping zone to the left of the 9th/18th fairway, for one penalty stroke. This dropping zone is a relief area under Rule 14.3.
Collingwood Road side of 9th /18th hole
The out of bounds white marker posts to the left of the 9th /18th hole have been moved closer to the Collingwood Rd fence. The course side area of this new out of bounds boundary marked by red and white striped marker posts from the 9th red tee to the old club house site, is a new “Red Penalty Area and “No Play Zone”.
If a player's ball is in this penalty area, including when it is known or virtually certain to be in the penalty area even though not found, the player must take relief using one of the options under Rule 17.1d, each for one penalty stroke.
