Fairway Protection
Now Lifted
We have now lifted the winter fairway protection that was in place. We will stay on the mats at the par 3's for a little while longer till slightly warmer conditions grace us.

When we start the final shaping works on the new 14th green, we will open the new tees for the 15th hole. The reason we are holding off for another few days is to give the new path way as much time as possible to settle in. Access to the new 15th tees will be from newly cut path to the right hand side of 14 green (at the bunker) on to the service road and down to the new tees.

I have enabled the General play scores. When the irrigation upgrade starts we will be down to 16 holes on the days that TIS are working, I will remove the option for general play scores. There maybe times when I can enable 9 hole general play scores but this will be dependant on where work is being carried out.

The greens staff have reported this morning that there was a high number of pitch marks not repaired on the greens over the weekend particularly the 11th green where there were 23 on Sunday and 17 this morning in a small portion of the green. It is all golfers responsibility to repair pitch marks even if they are not your own. A correctly Repaired pitch mark can recover within 24 hours but a pitch mark left for 2 hours can take up to 2 months to recover. They have also noted that the standard of bunker raking has dropped dramatically over the last few months. Neil is planning on doing some refresher videos on course etiquette and we will display these in the clubhouse and by email.
