A Valentine’s Spectacular
£1295.00 raised for Hospiscare!
Eighty hardy members turned out on an extremely cold Sunday to play 11 holes in our annual Valentines Golf and Dinner Event.
Festivities in the evening included a wonderful dinner provide by Dani, Claire and the team and a fun Valentine’s themed quiz to test our brains – much ‘adored’ by all the participants!
The winners of the golf competition were Annette Jenkinson and Mike Trapnell with a magnificent 25 points.
The evening closed with the draw for our charity raffle which raised a fabulous £1295 for Hospiscare – taken together with the Drive-In, what a great way to start our year of fundraising!
Many thanks to all who helped organise and run this event, to those who donated prizes, to all who braved the cold to play and last but not least, the generosity of our members who bought raffle tickets.
