Mud-busting by the 2nd tees
Work started to alleviate the muddy path by the 2nd yellow tee
With the pressure on the 9-Hole-Loop tees and surrounds over the past few months, we have now started work on the path next to the 2nd yellow tee by removing the surface mud and replacing with a stone base. There is more to do here, but it is already better for playing this weekend, and marked GUR for any stray balls up the 1st!

Next week more stone will be added and it will be compacted ready for path dressing. Note that we are first on the list for path dressing delivery (initially 20 tonnes), having had supply troubles where our suppliers had to close flooded quarries since October. They are expecting to open in early March. I am sure we will all enjoy seeing the various paths on the course properly capped for the spring.

In other news, the changing and locker rooms are progressing well and on target for 1st April. In the meantime, the reception desk has been custom-built using the warm, dry space. This will be installed on Monday and Tuesday next week.
