AGM 2025
Club Captaincy handed over
At the AGM on Wednesday evening your outgoing Club Captain Peter Smith handed over the reins to incoming Captain Tom Greenfield, wishing him and all members well for 2025. Many members were in attendance along with outgoing President Neil McCorquodale also standing down after almost 30 years, his son George taking over as President to continue and keep alive the tradition of the Turnor / McCorquodale family's involvement for 100 years since the Club was founded.

Earlier the formal business of reviewing 2024-25 was completed without issues. New Chairman Gareth Tamblyn-Jones thanked outgoing Chairman Adrian Stannard and the rest of the Management Board for their efforts over the last 6 years, steering the Club from a weak position in 2019, through the COVID-19 crisis and a couple of serious legal challenges to being in a position of relative strength in terms of membership and future prospects.

All contributors to the meeting recognised that our biggest asset is the wonderful course we have the privilege of playing on and thanks were extended to Gareth Austin and his team for their efforts throughout the year, without whom we would have nothing.

After the meeting all present enjoyed a lovely supper prepared by Cris, Lis and their staff.
