Secondly thanks to Norman Gill who asked the question as to the reason behind the feature pic Don’t Press sign in the mens locker room. Its actually one of three - the others reading
Far and Sure
Be Up
and they are all golfing statements.
To Press is to try and win back money during a match, which already has a bet on, by introducing a new bet over the remaining holes. There is a fair bit about it if one googles. Interestingly there are comments on whether it is acceptable etiquette to turn down a press if offered - maybe that implies it is not the thing to do by trying to impose it?

Sunday Roll-up
19 roll-uppers yesterday morning with all five flights zooming around sub 4 hours (3.50 to be precise!) Great conditions, albeit very chilly for the last hour.
One 2 recorded by Paul Marples on 14, where his playing partners watched anxiously to see if he could secure his 2nd Sunday roll-up ace on the same hole! Alas 2 feet off but obvs sank his putt for the birdie.
37 points was the order of the day (all the podium finishers carding that score thus cleverly managing to avoid a handicap cut). Sorting the medals out on countback the results were:
3rd place - Mike Williams
2nd place went to Matt Jordan
And top finisher with 22 points on the back 9 - Paul Marples
Short and sweet this week but plenty on the horizon - so for now…
That’s All Folks!
