Temporary Local Rule - 20/01/2025
Due to some questions raised about the procedure if your ball comes to rest within the roped off Ground Under Repair (GUR) areas for the new bunkers & turf around the 4th & 8th greens, the Competition Committee has introduced the following Local Rule with immediate effect:
"All areas on the course marked as GUR are deemed as 'No Play Zones', play is prohibited from these zones and free relief MUST be taken under Rule 16.1.b. The nearest point of relief must not be on a putting green or in a bunker."
The above rule will prevent any unnecessary damage to the newly laid turf, which in turn will assist with the new bunkers being able to be in play at the earliest opportunity.
