COURSE STATUS
Looking at the weather forecast for the next few days, it is clear that the temperature will not rise high enough to melt the icy greens. Walking on the greens in their current state will kill the roots that we have spent 18 months improving.
The tees and fairways are playable.
We do not have temporary greens here at College Pines, but simply to allow players a walk and opportunity to hit a few shots, we have placed flag sticks on the fairways, near every green. There has been no additional cutting around these holes, they are merely targets to aim at.
We hope that you appreciate why we have taken this unprecedented step, it is just to get you out playing, whilst protecting your greens for when the weather improves.
