Walkers on footpaths around course
We have received an email from some walkers who were using the PROW (public rights of way) footpaths that cross the course on Friday 27th December at approximately 1.30pm. Although they were using the footpaths marked on the OS map (see picture), they have reported that they were verbally challenged by some golfers in a manner they felt was uncomfortable, and told they were not on the footpaths.
A reminder that walkers have the right of way on the PROW footpaths, and golfers should ensure they are addressing any walkers with courtesy and respect at all times.
