Course Update

Unfortunately, the forecasts were accurate last night and we received 26mm of rainfall with the rain not stopping until gone 9 this morning. This is a lot of rainfall for the course to sustain in a short period of time and as such it has led to the course being waterlogged in places and not in a playable condition today. The course will remain closed tomorrow and we are hopeful that the dry forecast for the next few days will see the surfaces dry out enough to be playable on Friday.

I will send out a further update tomorrow afternoon after we have had a chance to assess the situation ahead of Friday.

Ladies Results

45 ladies played in the odds and evens competition yesterday. Congratulations to Caroline Pilbeam, Janet Weeks and Jacqui Humphreys for winning the event with 52 points. Sara Stoneham, Nicola Holton and Sue Crossen came second with 50 points. Elaine Conisbee, Andrea Cooper and Sharon Reynolds came third with 49 points.
