MATS
Use of mats on fairways
To help preserve the fairways as much as is possible during the winter months, it is compulsory that mats should be used on all fairways for casual play and in competitions from 1st December, 2024, until further notice.
Alternatively players can choose to place their balls in the rough at the nearest point of relief. This is a “local rule”.
It is also recommended that you carry your clubs - if you able to. If you do need to use trolleys or buggies, please keep off the fairways as much as possible.
