After a fantastic season, our club’s most prestigious trophies were awarded recently in a packed clubhouse.

On behalf of all those who competed this year, I thank everyone who put in a significant amount of hard work behind-the-scenes to ensure the competitions ran successfully. Elspeth Owen has played a vital role in setting up and running competitions; section Captain’s have played a vital role, bringing energy and leadership to their sections and around the club; the greens' team led by Alex Pile certainly deserve credit; Dillon James lent his photographic skills on Presentation Night; Jacky Jones, the Ladies Captain put on her announcing voice; Nicky Reeves prepared and administered the trophies; and, there are numerous others who have performed the essential, sometimes mundane, jobs for our competitions.

In terms of individual performance, the most improved golfer in the club was:

And our men’s and ladies Champion Golfers this year were:

Alyson James and Ben John
