The format of the Stag Dinner event was shaken up this year.
The meal was made less formal and the price point lowered.
The golf format was also changed to a Texas Scramble.
With a seeded draw for teams (from 4 different pots organized in handicap ability) all the participating teams had a handicap within 3 shots of each other.
50% of the teams were auctioned off on the night with lots of banter as the various team members were announced and fun was had by all. Teams were shown on the TV screen as the draw progressed.
On a beautiful crisp Autumn morning, the 8 participating teams each scored within 5 shots of each other.

The winning team of Andrew Durman, Eddie Clark, Simon Reeves and Andy Liggins took the spoils with Adam Burns, Ian Turner, Mark Canham and Kevin McDonnell in the runner-up slot.

The evening and golf format was well received by all who attended and, if the format is replicated again next year, I would encourage any of you who did not participate to try and make it next year, as the more we have the better it will be.
