This Saturday morning, there will be 'roadworks' taking place at the top of the car park, to tarmac the area recently dug up to fix drainage issues. Please be aware of this when arriving at the club.
Winter Tees
A reminder that we are now on Winter tees. If using a trolley, please do not take it inside areas marked by white lines around the greens.
Armistice Texas Scramble
Thanks to everyone who took part in the Armistice Texas Scramble. Despite recent wet weather the course was praised, particularly the greens, and an enjoyable day was had. Congratulations to the winning team with a score of 49. The event raised £1680 towards the Royal British Legion, which is a fantastic sum and demonstrates the generosity of members.
We're also grateful for the fine attendance at our Remembrance Service, honouring those Members of the club who gave their lives while serving during the First and Second World Wars and whose names are shown at the main entrance. Rev Peter Donald led a poignant service, with Captain McAuley laying the wreath.
Proceeds raised by selling poppies will be added to the total for the whole of Airdrie. Thank you if you contributed to this by buying a poppy.
Sunday Menu
Our new caterers, Eagle Cafe, are introducing a Sunday menu starting this coming Sunday. The menu is attached to this message - do come along and enjoy a Sunday Roast at the club.
Gents Prizegiving
Finally, thanks to all who attended the annual Smoker, during which John Gahagan provided top class hilarious entertainment. Congratulations to the prize winners, especially Calum Watson, our Club Champion this year.
