Winter rules update

* From Thursday 14th November 2024 mats must be used on all fairways

* Balls lying in the rough can be lifted, cleaned and placed. (mats NOT to be used).

* On Par 3’s mats should NOT be used

* Balls lying beyond the 2 white stakes/white painted line around the aprons of the green can be lifted, cleaned and placed - mats must NOT be used in this area. The white stakes are "movable obstructions”

* Balls in bunkers - the bunker can be raked and the ball lifted cleaned and placed within the bunker

* Yellow and Red Tees will continue to be available but the black course will be brought into play shortly - please watch for which tee sets are in play

* Winter wheels are compulsory on electric trolleys

* The winter mat regulations will continue to be reviewed by the Head Greenkeeper taking into consideration the course and weather conditions.

* Please keep trolleys and buggies to the paths & don't take them on to tees or right next to the greens.

* Please remember to repair pitch marks.


We hope that members will abide by these guidelines to protect our course over the winter months.
