Paula wins the Ladies Flag Trophy!
Yesterday the Ladies played for the last trophy of their year. For November the weather was kind, overcast, slightly damp but mild.
The competition is a medal with a twist. Including your handicap, it is played until you run out of shots. So the winner is the player who gets the furthest towards the 18th green. It can be a test for your mental maths as well as your golf.
Great golf was played by all and 3 ladies finished on the 18th green. Paula Ledger finished closest to the hole with a net 74 and so won the Flag Trophy followed by Debbie Jary with a net 76 and 3rd Vera Woolnough with a net 76 on c/b.
