Dean Plant wins Scratch KO
Ethan Randall edged out in close final
The two best scratch golfers of 2024 played in the Scratch Matchplay Final , Ethan Randall was hoping to add to his Club Championship win and Dean Plant to his Little Horsted Cup success.
Dean took control early on with a couple of early birdies , but Ethan, fresh from his recent Kings Hill Open win , fought back with 2 birdies of his own to level the match. Dean (pic left ) seized the initiative with an eagle 3 on the 14th followed by a birdie on the 15th , Dean won the match 3 & 1 with a solid par on the 17th.
