If the greenskeepers are on course, they have priority and players must wait for them to move to a safe place before playing.
There have been occasions recently when that has not happened and staff have been put at risk. Please note that players have responsibility, and therefore liability, for personal injury caused in such cases.
If needed, please call and wave beforehand to signal that you are ready to play (staff may be wearing ear defenders), before waiting until the playing area is safe. Playing partners can assist and advise. In all cases, you must call 'fore' loudly enough to forewarn if a ball is heading towards an area where other people may be.
We, and especially the greens staff, appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
