This is the third time we have organised this, held in memory of former club member Dick Chalmers.
Any man over 40 can book online and come along to the club on Thursday 11th July (4.30pm to 7.30pm) to have a small blood sample taken that is then sent to be PSA tested – a widely recognised test for early signs of prostate cancer. The results are back in a couple of days.
There is a charge of £25 which goes directly to The Graham Fulford Cancer Trust who were awarded The King's Award for Voluntary Service in November for the amazing way they support the early diagnosis and awareness of prostate cancer and speedy diagnosis through PSA testing.
As a gesture of support, the golf club Management Board is paying for refreshments for the two nurses and three volunteers to have during the evening.
Please share the event with others and we look forward to seeing you on the day.
