Jubilee Mixed Foursomes 2024

Last Monday, 6 May 2024, 57 couples played in our annual Jubilee Mixed Foursomes competition, traditionally Ladies Day.
A shotgun start at 10am followed registration and a light breakfast and all 114 players got around Killermont dry, where fortunately the weather proved much kinder than was forecast.
As the players came through the course bar at the ninth tee, the atmosphere appeared fun and very relaxed with not too many falls outs!
The stableford points scoring, ranged shall we say, with the top four couples all scoring an impressive 40 or more points.
The results were as follows:

Third Patricia & Tom McCartney 43 Pts
Fourth Mags Balsitis & Stuart McNellan 40 Pts

Gents Nearest Pin at 11 Graham Steedman
Nearest pin in 2 at 8 Margaret & Jamie Stewart
Nearest pin in 2 at 13 Fiona & Kenneth MacKenzie
Well done to all prize winners. Our thanks are expressed to our Captain’s wife Fiona for presenting the prizes.
Following the prizegiving everyone enjoyed a long lunch in the Kelvin Suite that ran into the early evening.
The Captain’s Committee would like to thank all Glasgow Golf Club staff for their assistance and contribution to a very enjoyable fun filled day.
