Drive-In Results

Yesterday we held the drive-in for our new Club Captain, Mike Oates. 124 members enjoyed a breakfast before the drive-in and a lunch after the competition. The results were as follows:

NTP 2nd - Terry Kuhler
NTP 5th - Liam Maskell
NTP 10th - Keith Cowley
NTP 15th - Sean Francis
NTP in 2 16th - James Maclean

Seniors Prizes:
Winners - Terry Kuhler & Mike Oliver - 41 points
Runners-Up - Roger Leverton & Paul Archer - 38 points

Ladies Prizes:
Winners - Sue Sidebotham & Jackie Chamberlain - 38 points
Runners-Up - Theresa Cashman & Jane Worner - 38 points

Men's Prizes:
Winners - Liam Maskell & Shaun Maskell - 42 points
Runners-Up - Adrian Smith & Graeme Chick - 41 points

We also ran a sweepstake for guess the distance of the Captain's drive-in shot. Mike's opening tee shot unfortunately caught the right hand trees and came to rest 56 yards from the tee. Mike did hit another ball which went 216 yards! But, we have to count the first ball for the purposes of the sweepstake. Congratulations to Ron Stevens who wins the pot (£85) with a guess of 57 yards.

Carvery - This Sunday

We have 2 carvery's coming up over the next 2 Sunday's (28th April and 5th May). Please contact the bar staff if you would like to book a table.

A reminder that the following men's competitions are coming up:

Easter Medal - Sunday 5th May (alternate day 4th May) - Booking requests for tee times for this event, need to be emailed to teetimes@bognorgolfclub.co.uk by midday this Thursday. Alternatively, you can wait and book remaining tee times when the start sheet goes live at 6.15 pm on Thursday evening.

Spring Tankard - Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May - Booking requests for tee times for this event, need to be emailed by midday next Thursday (2nd May). Alternatively, you can wait and book remaining tee times when the start sheets go live at 6.15 pm on Thursday 2nd May.
