Men's Masters 4BBB Results
The results of the Masters 4BBB competition on Sunday have now been finalised. Apologies for the delay with this, there were lots of issues with scorecards filled out incorrectly and it has taken a few days to unravel.
Congratulations to Alex Baker and Will Sixsmith for winning the competition with 45 points. Mike Noyce and John Burgon came second with 44 points, with Dan Cousens and Jamie Atterwell in third with 43 points. The full results are attached with today's latest news email.
Now we come on to the results with the adjusted scores based on each groups selected players performance in the final round of the Masters. Congratulations to Stephen Reynolds and Chris Seaton for winning with 46 points. Scottie Scheffler earned them an extra 4 points to add to their total of 42 points from the competition. Alex Baker and Will Sixsmith came second with 44 points, despite Xander Schauffele shooting 1 over par to reduce their 45 points total by 1. Chris Couzens and Adam Pugh came joint second thanks to Tommy Fleetwood shooting -3 on the final day to increase their 41 points to 44 points. Lady Captain’s Drive In
What a splendid day it was on Tuesday 16th April. The sun shone adding extra colour to all the pink and green outfits worn by the ladies. 76 ladies played in the competition, which was followed by an excellent lunch. It was great to see everyone getting into the spirit of the day. Thanks goes to everyone who helped to make Pat’s day special.
Pat’s charity this year is Parkinson’s Disease Research and we got the ball rolling with the guess the Lady Captain’s drive sweepstake. This closest guess was made by Frances Peace.
The winners of the ‘Well Dressed’ team was Wendy Johnson, Ali Wood, Sian Southerton & Chloe Briance.

1st - Suzanne Taylor, Bridget Samuels, Sophie James & Sheila Sargeant - 77 points
2nd - Wendy Johnson, Ali Wood, Sian Southerton & Chloe Briance - 73 points
3rd - Sue Monger, Vicky Collins, Sally Cameron & Sue Sidebotham - 72 points

Seniors Supper Report
The Bill Chick Salver
The Bill Chick supper and golf was a great success with a fine day and a full course to entertain the assembled players. The format was a 4BBB Stableford and with very new low handicaps the scores were more than acceptable.
The newly Elected Senior Men’s Captain, Don Barrett, presented the prizes and everyone enjoyed a well-earned pint on the terrace after the game. Hopefully there will be a larger entry for the next Supper in September.
