Coach.Play.Enjoy
Do you know anyone thinking of taking up (or getting back to) golf?
We are about to start the 2024 Coach, Play and Enjoy Membership programme at Glenbervie, aimed at those wishing to take up golf (or perhaps come back after a long lay-off). The ultimate aim for participants is to 'graduate' into full Glenbervie membership!

Do you know of anyone who may like to try golf or has previously attempted to start and given up because of … how difficult the game is, … how complex the rules are, … how unwelcoming clubs and existing players are to beginners? Well, Glenbervie Golf Club has the programme for them! A programme that will introduce the great game of golf in a way that will ensure engagement and enjoyment – and at the end of the day, for the large majority of golfers, that is what the game is all about!

The programme will be centred around weekly group coaching sessions and access to the Academy Holes and practice facilities and will quickly give participants the necessary skills and confidence to be able to play on a golf course on their own or with fellow learners. The programme will run from around the start of May until the end of October.

What's different about this programme is its emphasis on the social and fun elements of learning golf, amongst a small group of peers. Also, our excellent facilities provide the perfect learning environment and opportunity for those looking to establish themselves as 'a 'golfer'.

The programme begins in Mid-April.

What is the cost of Coach, Play and Enjoy?
The cost of the programme is £650 for the full year, with payment options available. Included within this cost are:
· A minimum of 24 weekly coaching sessions in a group format. Classes are held on Saturday from April until October.
· Restricted access to the Championship Course (for 1 year).
· Loan equipment (if you do not have your own).
· Full access to the Glenbervie academy practice holes (when available), short game and range facility (for 1 year).
· Glenbervie clubhouse membership.
· 300 driving range balls.
· An opportunity to gain a handicap.
· An introduction to competition play through fun events.

I'm sure you would agree that the programme is great value for money and will provide the perfect opportunity for anyone wishing to take up the game. If you know of anyone in your family, friends, work colleagues or neighbours who may wish to play then your help in raising awareness of this programme would be appreciated.
