Get a four ball together and join us this Sunday for the Florida Scramble Competition!

It is sure to be a fun and friendly competition with a 9am shotgun start, with prizes for top 3 teams and nearest the pin competitions. It will surely be an enjoyable day of golf.

Entry is £5 per player, with £3 going to the prize fund and £2 to the Captains Project, so we do encourage members to get involved and support Mr Captain, Stewart Court. The Captain’s Project is raising funds to purchase new bins and ball washers for the course and there will be many more events and fundraising occasions to follow, so make sure you keep an eye out.

For those members that don’t know, a Florida Scramble is a similar format to a Texas Scramble with a twist. Everybody tees off and you select the best drive as usual, but from this point whoever’s ball is chosen, then can’t play the next shot. This then repeats for all the following shots. This format is set to be a great laugh and something different to what we have played before.
