Tuesday 21st May: Course Open 17 Holes (18th not in play for competition/casual handicap but open for general play on a mat in front of the red tees): First tee start. Buggies and Trolleys Allowed. In line with the requirements from England Golf the Handicap Committee has agreed with the club that Preferred Lies that have been in place over the winter will be withdrawn from Tuesday 21st May 2023. This means that from this date Local Rule E-3 will no longer be in force. From 21st May 2023 a player must play their ball as it lies in accordance with Rule 9.1 and will incur a 1 shot penalty under Rule 9.4b if the Ball is Moved or Lifted unless permitted to do so under the exceptions within this Rule. Range - Long and Short range open.
