We had a great turnout for this years Seniors O'Malley Trophy, we had 42 pairs take part.

The winning pair with 42 Stableford points were:
J. McIntyre and R. Crane from Dean Wood GC.

Runners up with 41 points were:
I. Parkinson from Penwortham and R. Dix from Pleasington.

In 3rd position we had Phill Hatton from the Alt GC and his playing partner Dave King from Hurlston Hall.

We had two nearest the pins. In the one where it was nearest the pin with your 2nd shot on the 11th. This was won by D. Baker.

However, the best nearest the pin on the 7th was our own Mike Gadd, who went one better of nearest the pin by having a Hole in One.

We had several seniors playing our course for their first time. Together with seniors from other clubs that have supported our opens many times, they all comment on how brilliant our course was in, especially the greens.

On behalf our seniors section, I want to thank Jeanette and her staff for keeping everyone fed and watered. To the seniors who volunteered their time to help in ensuring the day ran smoothly, thank you. To our green staff for providing a golf course that the players appreciated very much, especially after all the rain we have had in the past few months.
